- myGo helps organize your soccer team. It's 100% free, easy to use, and proud to support youth, adults and the planet earth.
- How it works
- Players, parents, coaches, fans, etc. all signup and create their own profile. Then they add or join the clubs they're on. (Everyone is on the Club
 , only players are on the Team). Coaches/Managers then add matches and practices, which appear on a Calendar, personalized to each individual and we collect RSVPx. After the match, the coach puts in the results, and myGo tracks stats and awards trophies.
- Youth Specific
- Parents and kids each have a personal account, but parents are allowed to RSVP, accept trophies, etc for their kids.
- In the beginning . . ..
- myGo began when I (The Webmaster) was managing one club which had two teams. Spreadsheets, phone calls, email and text messages were taking up massive amounts of time and I was still unsure how many people would show up.
- Being a geek, I decided to build a website to help. Then, I figured, "Why not build it so the other two teams I'm playing on can use it?" (YAY! One Fridge Schedule)
- " then I thought, . . . why not support the rest of the leagues? . . . . or the whole USA? . . . .or the world?!?!?"
- We do FOOTBALL!!
- There are other products out there to do team-organizing, but they didn't do what I wanted. The features list (top right) was lacking and they were catch-all products that were good for baseball, lacrosse, yoga, gramma's book club, bingo, etc. Good for them, but I play soccer.
- myGo serves soccer players. The trophies are specific to soccer, the positions are all football related, we have special RSVPs for keepers and Clubs and Teams work the way soccer's structured.
- myGo doesn't try to be everything to everybody. We do football.
- Social Networking
- Static sites are boring. I wanted myGo to be dynamic, changing and specific to each person. I wanted everyone to be able to express themselves and use the site to communicate with their friends and Clubmates.
- You can share photos, send messages to your friends, update your status, chalk (comment) on trophies, match results, friends, clubs and just about everything. myGo is Social Networking for soccer.
